As a womenswear designer, I oversaw the design and development of woven and knit dresses, tops, jumpsuits and skirts. Utilizing a strong technical design background, I honed a keen eye for shape, fit and drape in this role. Four short months after starting as a Junior Designer, I was offered a position as Designer, owning ten styles per delivery and covering twelve deliveries a year from spec pass stage to top of production samples. It was a pleasure to design for a brand that had such distinct vision and aesthetic. In the city of Vancouver, which isn't the most forward in fashion, it stood out as being distinctly stylish yet approachable and subdued. The brand has grown to be one of the most loved destinations in Canada.
