SEPTEMBER 2019 - PRESENT
BAGS DESIGNER
Branching out into a new class category was an invigorating challenge. I started as a design assistant to learn the basics of designing this class category and progressed quickly to Designer. Through mentorship by top industry professionals, I learned how to balance commerciality with ingenuity and created products that proved to emotionally connect with guests of the brand (two styles having gone viral on TikTok). In this business I learned how unique the emotional factor is to bags and accessories. This will forever inform my approach to design. Working with a variety of cut & sew materials from recycled polyesters and nylons to cotton canvases and even bio-based leathers, I created franchises of top-selling styles, contributing to triple digit growth year over year since Q3 of 2022. I will be leaving the bags business at lululemon as the biggest growth driver for the company.
