Recently launched for Fall 2024, this will be lululemon's first commercialised collection of 'leather' handbags and SLGs. The accessories department exemplified the brand's sustainability goals by partnering with Desserto® to create a sustainable leather-alternative that suited the requirements for durability, hand-feel and weight. It was key to integrate recycled materials in the non-leather components of the bag.  I designed the crossbody and belt bag in this collection and lead the team on unifying all styles through branded hardware, construction techniques, interior branding and exterior design details. Working with our trim development and product development partners, we created a branded charm that was added to the main zip pull across all styles. Sourcing and development exercises were done to ensure the charm and encompassing hardware were fool-proof for future users. Through working on this collection, I built a strong foundation on leather bag construction and patterning  techniques  that  will  remain as  key  signifiers  to  the  collection  as  it  develops  in  later  seasons.
